As some of you may notice, there has been several posting games started here.

The current server is working at it's max. We are working with the ISP to get a new one in place. Yes, it's taking too damn long. I'm frustrated with it - ask Rick.

Until we have excessive server capacity (ie, new server comes online), I'm stopping the games for the moment.

You can call me names, whatever in this thread. I won't lock it, delete it, edit (except if the names fit in one of the "Seven words you won't hear on TV").

I apologize to ruining your fun for the moment.

I think I speak for everyone when I say, It was lots of fun, but we understand. Besides you did it in a nice way, and everyone was wondering how long it would last. So for everyone I say...

Poor Tom.. It sound like you need a vacation away from this.. Just thing how worse it could be if you were getting paid for this..

Thanks for not taking a BFH to the new server yet. We will be patient. And if someone isn't, they will have their tires promptly slashed. ;)

In addition, threads that grow by several dozen posts per hour are an absolute nightmare to keep up with and moderate for those of us with other lives besides this forum.

It is no more fair to ask me to quit work and all other areas of my life in order to spend all day and night just to keep up with one or two threads than it is for me to demand that you spend your vacation week cleaning my house and doing my laundry.

I think that's a good idea. I know I'm guilty of doing it just like others but I think it's time to stop it. We could use the bandwidth and load speed for important stuff.

Aww heck I just can't resist just one meaningless post to boost up my lofty post count.:D

I also am in the process oftrying to get my server up and running for my business. The only problem is that by the time I get done with work I am just to tired to care.:o

No apology at all needed. Hey that's no big deal, and was technically totally in the rules at the time. We're just starting to realize how onerous those threads become once they really get rolling :) You want to talk about someone starting a thread that ended up exploding in posts, I'm the first guilty one :D

Do you all realize that Premier has the power to make everyone who post pad on that thread to have their post count drop significantly. All he has to do is delete his own thread and pooof! :D
