I have a 94 X and was thinking hay I could save money buy just buying tires for the rims I already have. the deal is i am going to get a 5" Suspension lift by SuperLift, and wanted to know what are the best sizes to go with on my factory rim or should i fork out the extra cash and buy rims too? Oh and I have the Alluminum Polished factory rims not the star type that are more common. I really want to try to put a 33" All-Terrain BFG's but not sure if the width can hold up. Any feedback and recommendations are more than welcome.

There is some pics on this site of someone with 33x10.5-15 BFG AT's of factory alloys, and I think someone has put 12.5 on to but they bulged out abit.

BEAST- have you seen this February Run (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=99074)

33x10.5-15 BFG AT's sounds good, but any one know with this combonation of factory rims, 33x10.5-15 BFG AT's and a 5" Superlift (suspension) will there be any cutting or trimming needed or would this be the perfect combo for someone on a budget like myself. I would prefer not to have to cut or trim.

Should be fine but try to find a tire shop that will mount one up for you to see if it'll fit. The local tire shop offered to do that with mine. I have 33x12.5's with a 5" lift but I had to trim. They only rubbed while turning and that was with a 10" wide wheel.
