I've been looking for a new hobby. I like beer. So its only natural that I try to make my own beer. The problem is that I have no clue where to start, other than to stay away from that stupid Mr. Beermaker or whatever it is. (my friend had one, bladder has made better beer than came out of that piece)

So, what Im asking is anyone here homebrew? And if so, any tips, good books to pick up, or websites? So far I havent had much luck searching the web for a homebrewing forum, which amazes me. Im just looking for general information and poke in the right direction. I wanna do it right.

Feel free to post anything about homebrewing (experiences, funny stories, etc.) in this thread. Im hungry for beer knowledge.
