Hey guys, ive been putting these tires on A LOT of trucks and work and guys seem to love them . Almost every state work truck has them on it (that ive worked on) and they use them for Plowing too. Ive heard great things about them but have to to come accross them on here... so im starting it:

The tread looks more aggressive than the BFG AT's. Is deffinetally more aggressive then my Duelers, and my friend just got pro-comp ATs and look to be better than those too... let me know what you think.

The inner tread looks exactly like the bfg rugged trail a bit. Can you get that tire in the US.

yes you can get them in the US. Any STS carries them (east coast), but im sure any local tire place that carries continentals can get their hands on a set.

of course here's another cool tires that seems not to come in a 32" :( , but im gonna check at work tomorrow to see if there are any other sizes than what this page says.

*if rock crawlers came in a 16x8 with 3.75" backspacing this wouldnt be a problem! (hell, id even go smaller of a backspacing- i kinda like the tires sticking out a little)

My brother has the BFG Rugged Trails that this tire looks almost exactly like. Great dirt tire and siping is great in rain but dude they have sucked hard in the mud. The tacoma throws chunks like the size of a penny at a rate of about 1 chunk a minute when spinning hard. Looks like a decent tire though, especially at cost.

they look identical to the Pro-Comp AT's also, which my friend just put on his explorer and they did awesome in mud- i have pics and video to prove it..

thats what im trying to figure out here, if anyone used THIS specific tire. I dont care who had BFG's or who had the Pro-Comps because every tire performs differently.

If this tire comes in a 32" i might be the first to try it (maybe this summer)

how much they run per tire?

for a 235/75/R15

and a 30x9.5R15

The 265/75/16 ' s run $135 a tire... then it only goes down from there. Id say around $100-$110 max for the 30" tires. We were busy so i didnt have time to get all the prices... lol my manager kept kicking me off the computer so he can pay people out.

wow... here we only have the conti sportiva suv tires.... they suck.... but those ATs look pretty decent......

i hope you guys picked up on this in my first post;

they dont just LOOK decent. The reason im so interested now is because EVERY state work truck now has them- and they are used to plow and on construction sites and stuff, and ive heard nothing but good things from the guys driving the trucks... so i know they're up there in performance; i just wanted to know if anyone had them specifically for off-roading yet.

btw that picture doesnt do them justice;;;; those treads are might deep!

i just did a search on continentals site for sportiva and nothing came up:rolleyes: . i emailed them about the purchasing of these tires and i'm awaiting a response. i'll post it as soon as i get it. it said it could be up to 3 days, another:rolleyes:

Don't even waste your time here asking people to compare them to the BFG AT. People on here rub off to their BFG's and will take to fightin' if you suggest that there are other capable AT tires on the market.

Ok so i may not be the first to try these tires out. Right now i commute to school everyday and put 3K miles on a month- thats why i was looking at AT's, but im getting an APT next year at school so im back at looking with MT's.

I think im going to go with the 32x12.50x15 BFG MT's (because theres only 3 tires that come in that size)Go here if you got an optinion on this. (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=101691) Advice welcome also :)
