DaFinksta 02-25-2004, 07:45 PM body or suspension? body is gonna be a lot cheaper, but can't go as high and some people will say the ride is rough, but I didn't notice any change. DaFinksta 02-25-2004, 07:46 PM sorry, I got my body lift for my 92 explorer from jcwhitney.com, they have good prices, or check out truckperformance.com or even stylinconcepts.com. Ky_Explor_93 02-25-2004, 08:14 PM Hey DaFinksta What was the name of the Body kit that you got on JC? I am looking for one for my 93. jasonleve56 02-25-2004, 09:12 PM Thanks for you're help. That is where I bought mine. Metallic2001 02-27-2004, 10:56 AM How hard is it to install a lift kit?? Dre 02-27-2004, 08:03 PM depends on a lift kit and your skill. Body lift is fairly easy... a few stripped bolts, bloody knuckles and you're done in two days. Suspension lift is a bit trickier... more parts involved and time. But you learn a lot in the process. If you do search you'll come-up with many posts regarding lift installs and all the problems you can expect. Good luck! |
