Trying to fix the driver seat i damaged it more at least now is a bit more driveable but i have to keep getting the seat up. The backrest of the seat keeps on rolling back i need a new driver seat. Since I have a 92 untill what year or from what other ford cars could i get a driver seat that will fit there with not many wierd mods such as drilling or welding?
Thank you

What exactly is broken on it? You can buy a replacement for the reclining function which will run you around $40 or so, and there is a write up on how to do it as well.

There's the write-up on how the replace the reclinging mechanism. If you do in fact need a whole new seat, they just unbolt and come out.

Hey sounds like a common prob in all 92 Ford cars, I had a 92 crown vic, the seat broke cause i got tapped from behind while i was stopped nothing else happened just the seat broke. I just took off the cover and had it welded back together. I assume that it is still going strong, but i dont got the car anymore. If you know someone that can weld good and its something easy like that it might be worth a try.
