View Full Version : Antenna assembly removal

How th heck do you pull the whole thing out? The antenna was broken off when i bought the truck (95 sport) and i cant get the rest of the threads out. So i was going to just replace it. But i cant pull the asembly out. Im lost after removing the torx bits. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

There is one more bolt that connects the dealio to the firewall. You'll have to remove the inner fender plastic lining to see it/get to it. Plus, the atenna cable is taped onto the support too and that will need to be 'untaped'.

Hey guys this is my first post and wont be my last. But hey Timmy the best way to do that would be to drill out the old threads and go buy a tap and tap handle, and rethread the hole. But you have to mearsure the old thread size so that you will get the correct tap size. Hey good luck with fixing it.

how did it go, I am in the same boat with my 94 xlt
