I'm really not up to par on offsets and things like that. In fact, I'm not even sure of the stock offset on my wheels. I think its 25mm, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help me on that? I have a '97 Sport 4x4.

Anyways, I'm looking at these wheels:

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/product/wheels/fon9a.s.xl.jpg

They are 17x9, 25mm offset, and I really like the look of them, and especially the price. I wanna know if they'll fit ok. I'm running the stock 255/70/16 now, and can get the identical diameter and overall size with a 255/65/17 tire. So I shoudln't run into any rubbing problems correct?

How well will that mounton the 9" wheel? 265/60/17 would put me slightly shorter than stock, but 275/60 would match it perfect. At that point though, I'm worried about rubbing. Would I need spacers to avoid rubbing or not? I want to have them set out further than stock anyway, but not much is offered in a 0mm offset, other than 15-16" and I'd like to run 17"

Any help is appreciated, as I don't know much about the offset of trucks, although I had 15" Eagle Alloys on my Ranger and it had the exact look I wanted with a 0mm, but I was running a 31x10.0 tire. My Ex won't be as offraod oriented.

they SHOULD fit decent... the inside of the wheel lip may rub on the lower control arm at full lock turn. or, it may not. every truck is different. it will be close. you will basically be running the same size and backspacing as the everpopular 17x9 1995 Cobra R.

Well I could get spacers and eliminate that problem right? I was going to anyway to bring them out further, especially in the rear.

Here's a preview of whta they'd kinda look like. Supposed to be a gen2, looks more like a gen 1.

I'd be happy if they sat like that....but in the thread, maybe I read wrong, are they 18's?
