I just got some new tires: Cooper Discoverer S\T (http://www.coopertires.com.au/news/news_st_01.htm) The old ones seemed to be wearing pretty normal. Is is necessary to get an alignment? BTW, I really like them so far. They ride SO much smoother than the old ones (Goodyear wrangler rt\s) which absolutely sucked on anything but dry pavement. In person, the tread is slightly more aggressive than the BFG At. They hum at about 20 mph, but other than that, they are quieter than the goodyear wranglers.

It's not necessary but I would get it done just for good measure.

i would suggest at least having it checked to see how far it is off, they usually check all the suspension parts also when they check the alignment

If wear is even don't bother....for wheeling you will just mess it up anyway.

Now that I think about it more, I have decided not to do the alignment, because the old tires were wearing evenly, and the shop said not to bother.

So here are the tires: http://www.explorerforum.com/data/showphoto.php/photo/9970/password//sort/1/cat/500/page/1
I only had to trim a little bit off the rear of the front fenders.
How come the link won't work? I've never posted a pic before, so I don't really know what to do.
