Do a search on the early 4x4s and Jeeps. I think that's where the birth came from. I watched a special on it on the History Channel before, but as much tv as I watch my brain is fried. Hell, I just looked up photos of early 20th century auto accidents for a class and found them online. Try the library, I went to the stacks last night which was quite the adventure. They actually have automatic moving shelfs....it's crazy!!!
