i'm all for the extreme explorers, but can we try to keep va involved here. I know i'm personnally up north a lot, so i'm willing to offroad while up there.

well for me names don't really mean much it's more the people that are part of the groups that make it was it really is not the name so what ever everyone else want's is fine with me

OK, from what I see, the biggest problem is that ECX members already bought decals with the ECX logo... and dont want to spend the $$ on new decals and I totally agree with that conflict, so to make this a bit easier, and so we can decide on a name already, Ill eat the cost of the decals for any member that has already bought ECX decals and have them on their truck, and current active members of ###############, all I ask is that you pay for shipping... ($1-1.50 depending on location) does that sound any better?

well... why have 2 clubs, quite a few members are in both clubs, in the same area, with the same goals... so instead of 2 small clubs which both have problems with club participation, just have one big club... it has been done with many other organizations and clubs all over the world and has usually worked.

I agree with you Lizardtrac. Why have two different clubs in the same area. Just have the one. As for the name, I chose ExtremeECX. I'm of the opinion that if you are going to merge two clubs, you should merge the names. But that's just me.

I would liek to keep ############### a few reasons... it takes on more then one meaning, the explorer part that is, you got explorer as in one who explores and explorer as in the truck, Ive gotten responces to both aspects of the name, when ppl see the name on my truck, and if their not familiar with what kind of truck mine is, they take it in a 'one who explores' maner. ############### just has a take charge kind of name... it sorta hits hard... if ya know what I mean. Oh well.... thats my opinion... take as you will.

Im not going to exclude any states, if you live in FL, and want to get involved, not a problem, I dont think it would be fair to limit the club to certain states, heres how I would intend for it to work, if you get 10+ members from your state to join, there will be a chapter created for that state, otherwise, members for any state are more then welcome to join.

As of now, there will chapters created for the following states:

PA
NJ
NY
CT
MD
VA
WV
DE
NC

Not just a MA chapter; I vote we do a New England chapter minus CT if they're with NY. Matt (FordExplorer157) and I were discussing heading up a new New England chapter to replace CBoug's defunct one. After all, Matt is in VT. I will likely be back in VT in the coming months, and there are probably a couple guys in NH. I know for a fact one has a friend in Enfield, NH who owns at least a hundred wheelable acres.

My goodness guys what the heck is going on? I check out the EE forum where I was a member to find out that my username was erased......what did I do to deserve that? I have no beef with ANYONE here or there either.....All I can gather from reading posts between here and the EE forum is there is some very bad blood between some people. I refuse to take sides in this matter, because I'd like to eventually get down to Paragon and hook up with some of the members down there and I would not want to feel unwelcome

Please dont feel that your are unwelcome, you along with anyone else is more then welcome to join us on any run. We are still getting new members reguardless of all the BS, and those that are new realize that were not bad people, we go out and have a great time, ask them yourself.

Im sorry that everyone is blowing all this out of proportion like they are but if you all knew the whole story I think you would agree.
