Weekend of May 8-9 is bad for me....It's Rachel's birthday. Weekends on either side look ok though. I think Sammy is suffering from offroad withdrawl... :burnout:

i graduate from Bloomsburg University on the 8th, so for obvious reasons that day is out. the next weekend would be good

I guess the consensus is either the 15 or the 16th or both if we wanna do a 2 day trip.

I was checkin out the calender... I forgot the first weekend was May 1-2... so I was actaully thinking of the 3rd or 4th being that there are 5 weekends in May... anyway... the 4th weekend, 22nd-23rd would be the best for me... anyone else?

I def want to go since its not to far from my house....i wanna ride along with someone on the trails and take some more pics.. :bounce:

i'm game if i can get off of work. iv never been to paragon but would like to go. is there anything special i need to do. also what does a trip like this usually cost? thanks guys.

I haven't been there myself before either but I believe if we can get arount 8-10 trucks out there, we could possibly receive a better price according to Chris. I believe its $35 per vehicle & driver plus the charge if you don't have an orange Paragon flag but maybe Chris could supply us with some. From the looks of Paragon's calendar, the 22 & 23 are the days that Neuroc is being held. I say lets do it the last week of May or the prior week to Neuroc since its pretty much not filled except for Friday & Saturday for a Hummer run.

i'm in a wedding on the 22nd of may so that weekend is out for me, plus we just lifted my buddy's cherokee last night and is tires come in that weekend, so the weekend after that might be better for me at least. still the week after the 8th is good too.

i would love to go but i have never been before. i need to know what requirements the park might have. IE: tow points, if you have to have 2 people in the vechile etc. Also for the people that are a bit farther away like me do they usually go up the night before and get a hotel room or what. i like said i would love to go but have never been on a trial ride to know what i need or to do before hand. if someone could please help me.

Probably atleast a front & rear frame mounted recovery point.. Defiantely try and get a CB radio. You won't be privy to the conversation while we wheel if you don't have one. Make sure you got a tow strap but I'm soon there will be quite a few in the group.. That reminds me, I need to find out where my 3" x 30' strap went.. We'll probably get a hotel room, most times we do a hotel room for like 4 or 5 of us to a room cause its cheaper. Any other questions, I would direct them to lizard since he's a guide at paragon.

i'm not sure yet whats all goin on..but i am def off for that weekend...

as of a few hours ago i'm in. my buddy with his newly lifted cherokee will be making his first trip up there too. i am pretty sure i will be camping nearby with my other friends who are coming up with quads and dirtbikes. actually theres alot of them. they're bringing a dually pickup and a 26 foot enclosed race trailer complete with generator, welder, compressor...the whole nine. i'm just planning on making it a camping weekend and the like.

Well wit me it all depends on how my truck goes,....id really like to play in the woods,...but i want to make sure all the bugs are worked out,......so i still dont know :confused:

sounds good, heres the deal, you will need (if you dont already have) front and rear tow points, full size spare, and a cb.... the tow points can be a rear reciever, or just $10 tow hooks you buy at your local auto parts store, just make sure their securly fastened to the frame.

Directions to said Exxon station:

from rt 80 westbound, get off at exit 260A, onto 81 south, get off at exit 143, make a right at the light and go about 1/4 mile, the exxon is on your left side.

Well, the ever present Paragon bug has bitten again. Decided to test out my new winch, and the $%$^& alternator wasn't up to the task....split the case wide open! I need to put a bigger alternator on it, but the bracket comes from Colorado and won't be here for a couple days......ugh.....The zuk can't go. :fire: here's the carnage....

1. the first weekend of every month is the monthly ride, pay $35/truck w/driver, and $5/passenger, sit in a group of 20-30 trucks and wait 80% of the day.

2. Go anytime, pay $35/truck w/driver and $5/passenger, and $120 (or possibly more now) for a guide, and have fun.

3. if you want to set up something with me, ill do it for free, but you prepay $35/truck w/driver and $5/passenger, paid for 1 week or more b4 the run. non-refundable after the one week deadline. Ill take ya out there and make sure you have a good time..

i spent friday night in jail. man that was fun, you meet alot of neat people in there...... one of my drunk buddies decided instead of listenting to the cop that was giving me a sobriety test at a checkpoint, (i was the designated driver.) he would start yelling and eventually wrestiling the cop to the ground. one thing led to another and we all spent the night. got out at 5 am. i'm not facing any charges since i wasnt drinking and just sat down on the curb as it was happening but jeez my friend really did it to himself. I'm 23 and he was undarge at the bar with a fake id, so the cops went back and got the rest of the underagers at the place. my parents werent too happy but once they realized that i did nothing wrong and was actually being the good guy, they calmed down.

nope... the policies have changed, altho someone could take the first guide class to take out 3 trucks if they want to, becides, does one really want to spend all day figuring out where to go? you know how poorly the trails are marked, me... Id rather get someone who knew the park and enjoy myself.. but thats just me.
