Ok so we all get to meet up to go wheeling once and a while and all have a good time. Now how about a meeting to go ride some crazy rides, and have a blast? I was thinking about us all getting to meet up and spend some time at Six Flags in NJ. I know we all are going to Carlisle in June, so I was thinking about some time in the begining of July?? Since you all are form all over the place we could make this a 2 day deal since there is a water park along with a coaster park. We could do one park one day, chill at the beach, thats not too far away at nite, and stay at a near bye hotel and do the second park the next day. Or since we are a truck club and enjoy playing in the woods we could do one day at the park, and the next Wheeling on the Pines??? Well we have some time to figure it out,.......let me know what you guys want to do. :bounce:

Well, I had a concert to go to on the 17th, but if that's the weekend everyone wants to go I'll weasel my way out of it- I'd much rather spend time on some coasters and try to drown 98sport in the ocean again.

How about meeting up saturday the 17th at 6flags and spending the day there, then off to Manahawkin that night for some camping... no idea what to do for Sunday the 18th, but I wouldn't mind chillin' oceanside all day as opposed to hot and dusty pine barrens wheelin or sitting around BSing in a hot parking lot.

I have a two perosn tent,
a six person tent and a condo
that will fit about eight.
I am 99% in. Get a date asap though.
If memory serves me correct there is a Yogi Bear camp ground associalted with Six Flags. It has been quite a wile but I camped there once upon a time.
I also believe we can get group discount at Six Flags as well.

Lebenon = a stockers dreamland but plenty there to challenge trucks like mine.. will be boring for guys with 36's and lockers though after a few hours.

but lebenon is a great place to set up a grill/quates and cook-out while we wheel.....)

Matt, I like the idea of Pines wheelin' if only 'cuz it's right there and we don't have to go far for it. Whichever area's closest sounds good.. if it's too tame for the big dawgs they can go climb a tree or something to keep themselves entertained :D Dave, I'm sorry man, but I am NOT driving an extra 40 miles out of my way if I don't have to! (it'd be 80 roundtrip for us fairylanders)

1) Admission to 6flags is going to be $65-ish a PERSON. Dunno about you guys, but that's half my damn budget right there :(

2) Camping would be cool except for the fact that it'll probably be 100 degrees at night :eek:, which means we probably need to split a hotel room or 2 again. Unfortunately they're kind of expensive up there but I'll see what I can find for cheap.

3) Keep in mind we'll all be sunburned, tired and probably a bit crabby by Sunday!

This started out as a Sport truck get together, but I've posted my .02 in that thread and hopefully the Sport trucks can meet up at Etown in the fall instead (Sorry if I sound bossy). This is still an open-to-all run though- it doesn't matter whether your truck is lifted, lowered or stock, we're just getting together to have some fun and laughs like always.

I have no idea were this dam sport truck idea came from. i know most of us are in to wheeling either the pines or mahwah, not wasteing gas, and driving around for no god dam reason on a sunday after sixflags. Nutin about the guys that that like that sh1t, but I wanted all of us that went to Carlisle to chill. So thats that, what do you all think?.....6 flags and wheeling,.......or 6 flags and driving around like little Hondas for no reason. I know ill either be in the woods on that sunday either in the pines or Mahwah,.....you all are welcome to join me or drive around like rice,......its up to you.

yah u all can come, but since i started this thread i had the plan to wheel and chill since we are all mostly lifted trucks thats what we like to do. If you want to come and you have a sport truck we will have enough room for ride alongs................

If you'd go back to the first page of this thread you'd see that the idea was to roll the Jersey Sport truck run thread into this one since they couldn't make up their minds what to do. Originally we were going to try and go to 6flags saturday and 'cruise' down to manahawkin sat night for camping. I merely suggested to the Explorer owners in the Sportie thread that maybe they should all get together a different time since they can't get their acts together, and it seems like everyone would rather go play in the sand.

They're members of this site as well, and in case you forget- I HAVE A DAMN SPORT TRUCK TOO! And I've had it since WAYYYY before I ever got hooked on wheelin. I live about 25 minutes from six flags .. theres a few hotels on Rt 130 that will be a lot cheaper than staying at the shore. I forget which ones they are but ill get you addresses and costs.

Also, we're all mixed up over sunday.. i say we wheel/bbq at lebenon.

This was two years ago. i towed a trailer with a grill/quad/quates/stereo and we set it up. Look just next to my trailer; thats actually a huge stone slab thats perfect for grilling and stuff.

Yah i agree wit chris 100%. I like all trucks and if i did not like the sport truck thign i would not be helping MeatBall Slam his truck and i would not be doing all the werk to Taras truck too. Its just the pointless driving around, Blasting the systems, anoying strobe lites(for no reason) that gets boaring. If we can get us big trucks and the little guys to drive some were for a reason, not just to drive and wast money then im down for it. Yah gotta remember, Us BIG boys (skunk&patch) really are not to user friendly as far as gas mileage for driving around, and at $2.15 a gallon, id rather be useing ,my gas for a reason.

You can bring it but im not 100% positive quads and dirtbikes are aloud there. Ive been there a few times where the ranger asked us if we've seen any... so thats your decesion if you want to bring it (whats the worst that can happen? be nice if you get yelled at and put it on the trailer?)


Ok ill figure everything out for sunday... but im gonna need to know how many people are down cause the grill i bring is one of those $20 coal grills from home depot... so i might need a few more of them (unless someone has a nicer one to bring :thumbsup: ) And then we'll need people to sign up for stuff like hot-dogs/burgers/buns/drinks/etc.

I agree with sk1er. I'm neutral in all this too, but I think the question is if Kathy goes, will there be grudges and friction towards lindsey and/or others? actually no... most of that happened in about 5 min on a mad hard rock obsticle, in the video, that rock was a cake walk compared to what broke the front end .... one of the u-joints was bad already for my front driveshaft.... oh yeah.. and after I broke, I wheelin for like 1 1/2 hours more.... got some vid of skunk goin through a mad rocky creek bed with all that broken stuff... shes built mad strong.

Wow thats a lot of money for brakes. But knowing EE they are all top notch parts. Thursday my front end comes out. I was going to sport 35 1250 mt's but got old shop to float me some mud kings. not what I wanted but when all you pay is delivery costs you cant bitch.

Yah need good brakes, I just did Tara's this weekend and got the good shit from Autozone, new pads and rotors with the Life time warranty. All for $100, so after a few months ill swap them out and keep all new shit in her truck all the time, its great. :bounce:

I am a firm believer in quality parts. Since I get dealer cost I really dont know what list is anymore. Its roughly twice my cost according to my uinderstanding. I will tell you to stay away from most lifetime pads. Think of it like this. For a pad to last overly long it must also be incredibly hard. This will eat up rotors quickly and cause more heat. more heat = more warpage. The only lifetime pads I would ever buy are ceramics. Also harder pads arent as efficient as softer ones. Hence race cars always changing brakes.

yeah i had a great weekend with Dave..and got to hang out with Justina and Tex...btw Justina IF u come after me with a wet noodle again..theres gonna be a smack down...then while i wasnt lookin Dave and Justina gave Hotness a uni-brow that had this decal on it and took pictures...my poor truck..(Sorry Linds :p )

It all started a couple years back with a bagel.... a single bagel with tuna fish on it.... yes, as much weed as I smoked in my time I still remember the first time I called lindsy 'tuna'.... for a while I was the only one calling her that immortal name.... then one day doug found it equally as funny to do the same.... well after that there was no question who everyone was talking about when the word 'tuna' was said.... then one july afternoon, I came up with the great idea of putting 'I brake for tuna' on everyones truck for lindsy to see when she arrived.... well that set the 'tuna joke' into the history books.... and insured its immortality. To this day, there are only 2 of those left that I know of, one justin has as seen in the above pic, the other is stuck to a large pipe I now use as a pry bar in my garage..... and everyone still knows lindsy as 'tuna'.... its funny how one name can be used in many different ways.... one of my favorite took place in an Arbys fast food joint in Carlisle PA..... I remember saying the word 'lesbian' quite loud and 'somone' turning bright red shortly thereafter.... well however you may interperate it, the name 'tuna' will be around for quite some time I think... SO GET USED TO IT LINDSY!!!!!!!

blew my rear apart doing donuts on dry pavement..... anyway... need a new rear, or a set of 4:10's and someone to set em up, I dont trust my eyes to set up an 8.8......

hey guys......I know most of you dont know me but a few of you do. I am best friends with Mike (98sport) and I have been wheelin with a few of you. I went with Lindsey, Chris, Doug, and Mike last summer in the pines with my truck. ('79 F-250). Also I've been wheelin with Justin and Ben before also. Now Mike (98sport) told me that you guys were going wheelin this weekend and that I was invited to come. But now I talked to him and he said that he didnt exactly talk to you guys at all. (figures...... he's not a quick one)
Anyway, I was just wondering if it would be cool if I could join you guys when you go wheelin? Also is it this weekend (the 24th) or next? (the 1st) Just let me know though ok....thanks.

**THE WHEELING IS STILL GOING ON**

Right now i have about 10-14 people going to wheel/cook-out on Sunday August 1st as planned.

I need to know exacly how many people from here are still comming so we can figure out about burgers/hotdogs/sausage/rolls/drinks. I think i got my buddy to bring his big grill so we should be good there.

Anyone who still wants to go wheeling give me a call 609-802-8890 so i can get this all straightened out. I wont be online that much this week cause i have to go over my aunts house everynight and i dont think they have internet. So if you want to go wheeling, call me. Ill be there whether or not anyone replies from this thread.

I hope someone will recap the finial plans Friday as well as what to bring. I guess the six flags part is out is out but everyone is wheeling Sunday? Can someone invite me to the BBQ Sunday? Still need to install windshield and pry my fenders off my wheels so i don't know how much wheeling I will be able to do, but the BBQ part sounds good.

My friend marc wanted to get stuck on purpose just for fun.. so he did and i pulled him out. He got crap stuck in his brakes so we had to pull his tire off to clean it out...

while we were fixing his truck i let my girl drive my truck. she babied the hell outta it but would come back every 5 minutes and be like "look i got mud on it :bounce: " , but there would be like a dime sized spot of new mud so me and marc would laugh at her. After we laughed at her for the 3rd time she went gung hoe in this little mud whole (maybe about 40ft in diameter) :burnout: . She loaded my truck up with mud and while i was watcher her dip in and out the mud never went much higher than my hubs. So she came back all proud that she got muddy like :bounce:

She didnt put in in 2wd though.. and i couldnt have my girl get the X more muddy than I :cool: .. so i said "watch this" (<----Famous last words anyone?) Popped it in 2wd, went to go do a donut in it....

Well i seemed to find a rut she didnt cause my front end with straight down with my engine revved :roll:
