Looking for a KKM for my 98 Sport 4.0L OHV. Anyone else done this?
Results in mileage or hp?

Just did my plugs and wires. 106K and it runs real nice............

Looking for 25mpg. Started at 22, prolly at 23.5 now

I liked how my KKM opened up the engine a bit. It really only kicks in after 2500 RPM or so, but there's a noticeable increase in power in that RPM range.
What wires/plugs did you use? My mileage dropped (!) when I changed mine.... but nobody else has the same complaint?
Thanks,
Karl

I gained a little bit horsepower and better throttle response. I also got some good MPG out of it. Now that i dont have it i miss it:rolleyes:Its worth the $100 dollars.

Karl, I used Bosch +2 (all the parts store had) and autolite no-name wires (again, all they had). Did a injector cleaning (fuel additive). Picked up about .5 to 1 mpg and noticeable idling/acceleration improvement. The routing of the wires is a beast cause the driver side wires all go thru the same small area. I re-routed two of the three and it went well. Had to cut the old wires to remove. Just make sure the new routes are "cool". Was able to get the wire into some of the wire holders with the new routes.....

Did you disconnect the computer so it could relearn air/fuel mix after new plugs/wires.

Good luck.
