View Full Version : Retro-fit precision ground headlights?

As many before me, I am going blind driving my 96 with the stock headlights...largely due to fogging of the lenses, I think. Anyhow, to make matters worse, my wife goes out and buys a new car with precision ground headlights. YOW! Gotta get something like that on my XLT.

However, there are no threads anywhere on the board (via search) on this topic, so I am not sure where to go next. Does anyone have a suggestion for suppliers of high performance lighting? And are precision ground what I want, or is there a better option? BTW, simply putting in higher output bulbs ain't gonna cut it...I want to replace the whole headlight unit so I get new lenses, better reflectors, etc.

(Maybe this post should go on the Performance Lighting board, but when I looked there, they seem to be more focused on supplemental lighting rather than the main headlights.)
