View Full Version : Window Motor Replacement Adsltech1 05-20-2004, 03:47 PM Hello, I have a 93 X and I need to replace the driver's side window motor. The Hayne's Manual has no instructions on how to do this. I can see that they are 2 weird looking fasteners near the actual motor. Please, anyone have suggestions or instructions? Any special tolls needed? Thank you in advance. Erik You don't need any special tools to do it but it is a awkward thing to replace. They hardest part for me was the little screws that hold the access panels in place. I think they are about a 6mm socket. Also make sure that you get the arm on the motor that moves the wipers in the right position. When I installed mine I got the arm in the wrong position and it tried to force the wipers the wrong way onto the hood!
