I was sitting in traffic today. My truck was idle in drive. I noticed my RPM's were dropping and my power gage was falling when my RMPS were dropping. I had a new alternator and battery not so long ago. I did not even have the A/C on..... Any ideas what that could be?

Could be the IAC, Idle Air controller. Just replaced mine. Mine would actually drop the RPM's until it stalled. Search on "IAC cleaning" to see if anyone has tried to clean an IAC.

Part is about $90

Installation is fairly simple.

Start with clean the IAC.
