l am having a lot of trouble buying a shock absorber in USA and getting it shipped back to Australia.
l have a 1997 4 door 4 WD Explorer Limited with ARC system and need a right rear shock absorber.
Have been to 4 US ford dealers but as soon as i want it shipped to AUS i don't hear from them again.
Can anyone recomend someone to deal with any help would be great.

try http://www.rockauto.com They have a great price on Monroe Reflex shocks. They want $40 per shock.
Not sure they will ship to Aus.

Have looked at rockauto they were the most help and yes they do ship.
If i go with Monroe you have to change both rear, $40 shocks are for XLT they want US$199 each for the limited plus shipping US$239 each, so it was around AUS$700 each for the monroe.
That's still better than Ford Austalia they want AUS$1300 EACH.
Thanks for your reply have fixed the problem with 2nd hand part for now.
