My air conditioner does blow cold air, but the fan will only push air out of the defrost vents. It is the electronic/digital climate control and I can push VENT, FLOOR, whatever...the air will not divert to the regular vents. Anyone ever heard of this?

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak or pipe off. The whole vent position thing works on vacuum. I had that on mine when i first got it. Turned out to be the reservoir was piped the wrong way around.
