I got a 97 2DR Explorer Sport...

I want to sound deaded the hatch probably in the most cost-effective manner. I'm looking at getting some Blue Skin.

Anyhow, I am wondering if I just did the hatch what kind of a gain would I get? I point the sub toward the back to load off the rear hatch. With the windows down the hatch rattles noticably. With the vehicle sealed up the hatch rattles like a jackhammer.

How audible is the increase in bass?

The other thing I am worried about is how much louder this will make the vehicle outside... because if the change is that dramatic then I'm not losing that energy to vibrations. If this is the case then I'd probably have to do the whole vehicle over a couple times.

This will not make the vehicle louder outside at all.

It will definatly help, it has helped on almost every car I have done it on. It also gives the hatch a different feel when slamming it shut, it thuds more nicely and feels sturdier.

Get some peal and seal or second skin if you don't want to pay alot. I have heard brown bread is good but their customer service is piss poor.
