Guys,
I have been doing a lot of searches but can not find the answer....where should I run the power cable for my amp throught the fire wall?? If anyone had a picture that would be great!! I was looking at it last night and th0ought that I could take it through a empty gromet in the front door (by the hinges) but it would only work on the passenger side and I would hate to have to move other cables I already have on the passenger side. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

On the 2nd gens there is a empty gromet right next to the brake pedal. Just make a slice through the middle of it and run your wire through it.

Well I just went back out and looked for the empty gromet next to the break peddle and I can not find one. Does anyone have a picture of this gromet and its location?? Maybe they changed the design in the 03's over the 02's. The only gromet next to the break peddle is were the stearing column goes into the fire wall and I would rather not have to put a cable through that one. Any other thoughts??

I just drilled my own hole behind the passener wheel well.
The photo is of the inside at the distro-block.
Sprayed some good primer on the hole, popped in a rubber grommet, sloped it all up with sealant and there you have it.
The blue wire is from the battery and the two orange / red ones go to the amps.

If I can avoid it I would rather not drill through. I just am having trouble finding a open gromet. Does anyone with a 2nd gen. have any other thoughts or pictures?? Thanks!

right behind the brake pedal to the left in the 02's you will find some plastic rubbery things in oval shapes covering holes...just cut a slice in that and wire it through
