Well, I am looking for a good web site that has a good selection of rc gas trucks/buggys, cars, and planes. And customer serves would be nice.
Right now I am looking for a good and "fast" buggy 2wd or 4wd that is ready to run.
What are some good brands to pick and ones that I may avoid?
thanks Charlie

Team Associated is the best ;) I'd look out for Traxxas. I had one and the quality was just horrible, and it wasn't as fast as others in the same class and price range.

I have an RC10 buggy. I bought it on eBay for $130 with a Super Rooster ESC, couple batteries, 2 motors, and a controller. This is one of the ealy 90's RC10's, still hits close to 30 though. The newer ones are good also, but the cassis isn't metal, not sure about the shocks, so you can't be as hard on them. Any RC10 is a great platform, then all you need is the right ESC/motor combo.

A good starting point would be Tower hobbies, www.towerhobbies.com.

I agree, it would also help if you picked up a mag like rc car action or something and looked at all the ads to see what is avail.
