View Full Version : Will 31X10.50 -15inch tires fit a stock 2000XLT buch434 08-24-2004, 09:04 PM I want to get a set of 31X10.50 All terrains on my stock 2000XLT with 15 inch rims. I was just wondering if I will get any rub? Dre 08-24-2004, 10:03 PM if you put them on your stock rims you should not get any rub. Robb 08-24-2004, 10:06 PM From my reading here of actual experiences..................about a 50/50 chance of rubbing at full lock. buch434 08-24-2004, 10:22 PM Was the rubbing bad? Is it easy to deal with Dre 08-25-2004, 01:52 AM it will all depend on your truck. Some people complain that they get rub some say nothing happens. My wife's 98 came with 265 tires (that's almost 31")... no rubbing at all. Installed 31" tires on stock rims and once again, no rubbing. But then I installed those same tires on 15X8 rims and got some rub. Tire rubbed on a little plastic piece all the way on the bottom of the inside fender well. Cut it off, no more rubbing since. Don't install wide rims and you should not have problems. Sallad420 08-25-2004, 05:45 PM I have a '96, and that's the exact size I have on mine, with the stock "deerhoof" (or whatever they are called) rims. I don't have any rubbing at all. |
