here is my perdiciment(sp?). i have a 2 1/2year old male beagle/basset mix. when i first got him my mother ans stepdad dident mind him being in the house at all, infact they let him in. Gradulaly as they fixed up the house, new carpet, re-did the hardwood floors, ect. they would put him in the back yard that was fenced in. then she decides the fence is "old" and rips it down, so she buys a dog house a cage and a chain. puts the cage in the carage puts the doghouse in the back by the shed and hooks the chain up. now when i come home from work he is out on the chain (1am) so i go get him and i usualy find that he hasent been tended to during the day no water or food so i take him for a walk around 2am get back give him water and some food. i then put him in the garage and go to bed. i wake up at about 11am and find that he has been put in the cage with no water most of the time and given table scraps for food. i then go argue with my mom for the usual 15 minuets and she claims "i dont want to clean the fur up". i dont get it. she sweeps every day anyways, whats a little fur going to do? nothing. and when he was allowed in the house i always cleaned up after him. and now that i work more hours he is stuck on a chain and left in a cage most of the time. my stepdad doesnt like it but he goes along with it. im done putting up with it. i have been letting him in the house and he is usualy in the garage within 5 minuets.

so now im going to buy an invisible fence so he will be able to run around and have more access to more shade and improve his quality of life. so i need help with what brand and model to get. Now remember that he is a beagle/basset and that he is Very stubborn so i need one that can give a strong correction. i can spend around $200. i need help with this
