ok, i don't have the '04 YET, but i'm shopping.

Since Garvin doesn't seem to make a wilderness rack for the '04s.... does anyone know if a wilderness rack from an earlier model ('00 or so) would FIT on an '04? I'm not even quite sure how they attach to the truck to begin with....

Have you tried the Yakima roof rack company? They make mounts and crossbars, but they also have a cargo basket that might work for you.
