There seems to be a fair amount of activity from a company called Ford.com I wonder if anyone there is actually taking note of what things are being discussed on this board. Wouldn't that be something if they would use some of our ideas for the next generation Explorer.

Well, if they are "monitoring" this web site then lets give them some ideas. Like more horsepower for the extremely heavy explorer. Better accelration and more ground clearance. Or maybe even a SVT explorer, a sport with a 5.0 in it and a 3.73 rear end. BUt will be cheaper than the saleen explorer. Or maybe even a performance package upgrade. Just some thoughts...

Or even an off-road packaged! Something to get started on on the newer Explorers! Che#y offers the Jimmy (I think that is what it is called) with 31x10.5's BFG All-Terains right from the factory. Which would mean that instead of tossing your tires that you get right away, your could get some that you could keep for a least long enough for someone to get a lift made for the newer Explorers.
