I know you've been hooked so long racing that TransAm of yours and now you've got bitten by the 4x4 bug....

I saw this picture of a project vehicle that should give you some starter ideas on how you can have your cake and eat it too.

Just imagine a Photoshop image of your T/A superimposed over that Mustang.... if he can do it you could too!

And I thought I was the only one! I took the body from a 71 mustang mach 1 and put it on the frame of a f-150 then lifeted it 4 inches with some 34 inch tires. I must I cought a lot of looks. that's about it. It sucked as far as off road but it did look pretty cool!

Now that's an idea! Can you imagine the look of a Porsche owner when I pass them in a 4X4 Trans Am? Of course I would hate to get "Mud" on my leather interiour. Let's see which vehicle I bring to Moab.

I usually hate the way it looks when people put car bodies on lifted 4x4s. But that Mustang looks kinda cool! I bet it is tough to see over the hood on steep obsticles!

I was just looking at the other pics on the 4lo site and I was at the potatosalad hill when they were taking the pics. What they didn't show was the huge brawl that erupted shortly adter that red Bronco broke his driveshaft. A guy in a Blazer was trying another line and the crowd just stood there when he came up over the hill instead of stepping to the side or making a path. As he finally crested the top people were shocked and scrambling to get out of the way. I guess the 15 times he tried the line was not enough warning. Anyway as you know this is a big drinking spot of the Safari so combine the booze and the near miss and you have a HUGE brawl. It was kinda sad.
