The thread was forgettable. You asked about my Fairlane.
It is a '64 with a 289 and C4, under 100k miles on it.
My callup compares nothing to your father's. My unit was called up and we waited our turn to rotate into the theater and the ground war ended before our rotation.
I just want to say with the things I have learned from veterans I have known, I am grateful for the things they endured for our freedoms. I was proud to serve(15 yrs just got out 2 mos. ago) and grateful I didn't have to see the things they did.

Oh Yeah, THAT thread. One of the many that what's-his-name decided to be a jerk on.
Anyway, check out the "Beaters I have owned" thread to read about my Fairlane. You still have yours, huh? Wow.
