So far its stock, but am planning on doing a TT and shackles (war153) in the rear. Has anyone tried to shove this size on their x? Pro's, cons? Thanks.

some people have done it, but for the most part, there is rubbing. unless you are planning on going bigger, i'd stick with a 31"

if u add a 2" BL the 32" will run good

i did TT/Shackles and 2" BL on my buddies 97 sport and the 32's fit perfect... rubbed the bottom part of the front bumper a little -- until it got ripped off while offroading = no more rubbing :D

you're going to need to trim a lot to fit them with just the TT/Shackle

would it just be a matter of trimming the front bumper? I could live with that. It should be easy enough. I don't want to bother with a body lift. seems like a pain in the butt. I would only do it if I could find a shop to do it. Granted it being not too expensive for the install.

it'll be a lot more than trimming just the front bumper. You wont be able to make a full turn and flex at all.

if you dont want to deal with a body lift- go with 265/75/16 tires on stock rims.. you shouldnt rub at all with that set up on the TT/Shackle.

how bout 31x12.5x15? will they fit with a TT and shackles? Stock wheels?

not positive about that. give it a shot though, whats the worst case scenario.. trimming some?

And what kind of rims are you planning on using? 3.75" backspacing on 15x8 rims, 15x10 rims, or stock (16x7)?

My stock rims are 15's. Going to discover their width tomorrow when I take one off. I hope its stamped or cast into the wheel like other wheels I have seen. But yeah I was planning on using stock rims. And if not I would have to figure out if I should use 15x8 or 15x10 and what backspacing. I really want to go 32's. Even if I can't fully turn my wheel all the way left or right now. Eventually I will. Soon. But don't want to buy tires twice.
