I just bought a second C.B. at a yard sale (5 bucks!).It's a Realistic TRC-482. It has some knob positions that my other radio does not have. Specifically, a four position switch labeled CB/PA, WX1, WX2, and WX3. Can someone enlighten me as to the WX positions?

The WX positions are weather alert channels. They provide up to the minute weather forecasts, each position being for a specific area in the country.

Eric, thanks for the info. I haven't had time to see if the unit even works. I hope it does, I could use weather service channels.
