Quite a few years ago a friend talked me into taking the no code tech license. My question is if this license expires how do you renew it. The license had an expiration of 1999 and I really never kept up with the hobby. My call was KB8PSW. Any information would be appreciated.

You have a 10 year grace period to renew your licence. Contact the ARRL for more information on how this is done. I like you let my licence expire but mine expired in 1988. I got my licence when I was 10 years old and never stayed up on it. But I will say there have been many times I wish I still had it. Good luck to ya.

You have a 2 year grace period, not ten. Go to www.arrl.org (http://www.arrl.org) and do a search for renewal. All you have to do is send in a form.
