yep, I feel your pain. Finally, I told her it's because my truckd never complains. That one didn't go over too well...

I told her that the whining comming from the power steering isnt as annoying as her whining.

My gf realized that from the beginning, but she has a solution that worked. She does not care that I can spend hours at a time playing with the ex, as long as she can watch and sometimes help out. She actually wants me to teach her some things, so she can change her own oil, put the spare on when she gets a flat. I almost talked her into getting an explorer, but mine sits too high for her, but she agreed to one if I were to lower it a few inches for her :D. She has actually gotten into customizing cars, and is always lookin at other trucks telling me "That truck looks really neat, you should get something like that for yours". One of these days I will talk her into getting an ex, then the fun will begin cause she already talks about what can I do to it to mak it turn heads.:D

yea my girl used to say the same thing.. one time she gave me so much crap about it i was on my way outside with a baseball bat cause i was gonna put a few nice "beauty marks" in it because i was getting tired of "promising that i love her more than the truck" and her not believing.

My fiance has said that once. But, she has said that she wants to help me out and learn. I dont' know how true that is but i hope it is lol. I've had to teach her everything though, she doesn't even know how to wash her car the right way, damn her parents didn't do anything for themselves (can you tell i kinda hate them lol).

Well my girlfriend said she would try to help me but all she can do is whine about how long it takes and then ask why i dont spend this much time with her. The only fixing i can offer HER is to get her de-voiced like breeders do dogs.

LOL, my fiance doesn't understand why i like to lift my trucks and offroad them...she thinks if I fart on my expo it'll roll though :rolleyes: let alone offroad it. Well wouldn't it be nice if our women loved our trucks as much as we do. I think we need to hear from a trainer. My girlfriend informed me that next time I work on my truck she wants to help..

I wasnt "talkin big". I was serious. Ive been with her for 2.5 years and wasnt gonna let my truck come between us. If thats what she needed to believe me, then thats what id do.

Plus- now that she knows that, she knows im not gonna cheat on her (this is now our second year 3 hours apart due to college).. cause logically would i have messed up my truck and be willing to throw that all away for a one night stand? Hell no.

I wouldnt be willing to at all period.

ya i used to get it all the time. Now she accepts it and is buyin me 2 tvs and a dvd player to go in my truck.
