hey wuts up everyone?


i know i havent been on here in a long while i just got outa the hospital from a really really bad roll over accident and finally just got a chance to get on here. i just lowerd the new explorer i got and i wanna know what size tire do most people run on a cobra r 17X9 wheel cuz i noticed its not that thick of a tire and i dont wanna go to thick. i want it to look like a street truck. but yeah if anyone remembers me i havent been on because of the bad accident i had i hydroplaned my suv off of alligator alley down here in florida and my suv flipped 4.5 times. i was in acoma for 2 weeks and i finally just snapped back to life and got on with my life finally after trying to recover. :(

also will a cobra r wheel work from a mustang or is the back spacing totally different

On your year X a lot of people go with 18's with 255/55/18 tires. They have the look you're going for but still enough tire to provide good performance and ride quality. Cobras work but I'll leave the back spacing to someone else. I think it is 24mm offset but I'm not 100% sure. Do a search under the wheel/tire forum.

yeah thanx ton e montana. yeah man i cant have a lifted truck anymore because im partially handycapt now. after my accident. i really wish shit would go back to normal the way things use to be but no one can change that man. but thanx man i think i might actually go with the 17X9s cuz i dont wanna go to much bigger on the rim and tire. sORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE ACCIDENT.
i WOULD GO WITH 18 OR 20'S. i WAS GONNA GO 17'S, THEN 18'S, BUT I FINALLY WENT WITH 20'S. IT ALL DEPENDS HOW MUCH YOU LOWERED YOUR TRUCK. ANY THING AROUND 3 INCHES, 20 WILL WORK PERFECT WITH A 275/45R20 TIRE. IF YOU SLAMMED YOUR EX, GO WITH THE 17'S.
I DONT KNOW THE EXACT TIRE FOR 17'S BUT THE TIRE IS VERY HEALTHY( A LOT OF SIDE WALL). BUT IF ANYTHING, GO WITH 18'S OR 20'S.

Yes, he is. But before he could give any real information about what the shop actually did, and he could get pics, he sold that '97 Explorer. And the shop did the same thing to another X and it worked, but wouldn't work on his X for some reason. Then he turned around and bought a completely different '97 Explorer. And the apparent BS just went on and on.............

edit: and I guess he rolled that '97 X, and just got out of the hospital, and now has a new '97 X

I think this past one was lifted unless he is on his 4th x?

yeah i actually have pictures on my digital that i have to get off of it. but theres a guy running around south florida with my old lowerd explorer. no im not on my 5th ex its actually my 3rd explorer actually but i didnt wreck the lowerd one i just sold it because it was giving to many problems. but hey everyone ill try to post up asap. to see what i can do with this camera even though its pretty damaged hopefully i can save the pictures off of it. but hey everyone im going to sleep and ill ttyl bye and goodnight
