I have a 98 limited, Any recomendation on a hitch for a 14 ft aluminum boat. Will any hitch fit from another yr/mdl explorer. Also 4 pin wiring how to? Thanks for any help/info you can provide.

How heavy is the boat?

Just go to any auto parts store or 4x4 store or Rec Vehicle store and they can look up the proper hitch for your vehicle and load. About $125. Just bolts right on to the holes in the frame. They can help you with the wiring too; you should already have a built-in 4-wire plug under the back bumper.

Wait a sec...14 ft is small.....you could just use the bumper hole for a trailer ball, the towing capacity is in your owners manual.
