I need to get to my fog lamp relay. Apparently you need to remove the air filiter box and I can't figure out how to do this?

1997 Eddie Bauer 5.0 awd.

Did you open it up and remove the filter and have a good look? If it is held down by bolts or screws you would see them there. If not it is held down by a plug. Just give it a good yank and it will come out.

mine has no visable screws or bolts.

You just pull it out. I slid a screw driver under it for a little leverage and worked it out. Don't pull on it too hard though, don't want to break anything! Pull the air silencer while you're at it too.
