I have a 98 X and the premium radio with CD, Tape and RDS. The tape deck on the system has become possessed and makes a constant buzzing noise as if it is running, even when the radio is selected and sometimes when the unit is turned off. Has anyone else run into this problem? I thought I saw a post a while back about this but I couldn't find it in a search. I don't want to go to an aftermarket HU because my kids like to listen to their cds on headphones in the back seat while we listen to the radio and I don't want to lose this feature.
