any one have a problem with dark colored paints cracking? i have cracks on the hood and roof, looks like too much hardener was used in factory paint.
. i took it to a body shop for an estimate and the fellow there said it looked like a bad repair but the funny thing is its factory original..... :roll:

I have a dark green '97 with the etch-a-sketch ting going on on the hood. I've kept it waxed and to date it hasn't done more than look bad (in New York). Its original.

Black 95 X with paint cracks. I treat it by using dishwasking liquid to wash the hood, removing white traces of wax from the cracks, then use the new Duplo paint pen (avalable at Walmart, etc.) to fill visible cracks. Once dry, wax and it really looks great.
