They are an exact fit, but if you're a person like me who rests his left leg way to the left, then, yeah, they will get in the way a bit. Everytime a person stepped in the car... "Hey, what's this.. a button?" "No!" I went to a shop and tried them on. They are an exact fit. The only problem is that for 95+ models, the e-brake needs to be moved over about an inch and a half. me and my neighbor underwent this project and it's a B**ch. Almost not worth it, but I had some free time. Explorer Express here in the bay area sell them for $175. Good luck. If you get them, dampen them with some dynamat or something, it'll help out the sound. If you could seal them to make a mini enclosure, it would be even better, but that's sorta difficult.
