Well on June 9 some punks decided they needed my stereo equiptment more than i did. So back to square one. Before i had a Kenwood Excelon cd player and absolutly loved it. My speakers and amp were nothing to cry about. All outdated. I was wanting some of your guy's opinions on head units...amps...woofers..and door speakers. Thanks fellas....ohh yeah the first thing I am going to get is an alarm...not that it stops everyone.

Well I would do something simple like the following...

Head Unit: Clarion 9475 Series
Doors: Polk or MacIntosh 5 1/4's
Sub: Phoenix Gold 12" Competition Series
Amp: I like the PG Chrome Comp. Amp but you could also go with a Rockford Fosgate amp. They are also pretty nice. I just like the PG because the Chrome looks nice and sometimes you get deals when you buy the same Amp as the speakers.

Good Luck!

stick with a excelon head unit , and if $$$$ isn't a factor go w/ a precision power amp or a Rockford Fosgate Good Luck!

In response to the above, if you do get any amps from Rockford Fosgate, note that the ones from Best Buy (that is,if you have those in your area) are lesser versions made specifically for Best Buy. I forget which is which being the weaker ones, but they try to subtly differentiate by making RF "Series II" and "Series 2" amps. Not saying they are bad, but they are a little less powerful and have some smaller fuse ratings.
