i have a '94 limited explorer that is used for off-roading occasionally. It has the electric shift T-case and for some reason now will not shift into 4L, it will go into 4H just fine, but won't won't do anything when i push the 4L button. any ideas? thanks, kyle

Are you in neutral when shifting to 4L? Otherwise you may need to clean the shift motor (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123542) or atleast tap it a few times to "loosen" it.
