i haVE JUST PURCHASED A 5.5" SUPER LIFT FOR MY 92 AND THE SUPER RUNER STERRING SYSTEM ALONG WITH THE EXTENDED RADIUS ARMS WAS VERY EXPENSIVE SO I DIDN'T GET IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS WILL CAUSE ME MECHANICAL PROBLEMS EVEN THOUGHT I DON'T DO EXTREME OFF ROADING? I STICK TO THE MODERATE STUFF BECAUSE MY EXPLORER IS A DAILY DRIVER AND I DONT WANT TO GET STUCK WITH A BIG PROBLEM THAT WILL LEAVE ME WITHOUT A RIDE. SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN GET BY ALRIGHT WITH THE DROP DOWN BRACKET FOR THE STOCK RADIUS ARM AND A NEW PITMAN ARM? I WOULD REALLY APRECIATE YOUR GUYS'S INPUT.

I would say that you could get away without the extended radius arms but they give you more suspension travel. The Super Runner steering is definately worth the money. Your steering will be very touchy otherwise. You can always try it and upgrade later if you don't like it.

I myself am running without the super runner stearing right now, and I am thinking that I probably will get it within the next 3 months just because of the way my truck now stears. Right now it push's the tires around a lot and I have a feeling that it would not do that with the super runner. But I don't know for sure. I am running 33x12.5 BFG Muds right now.

ryan did you get the drop pitman arm? mine came in last week and i don't think it looks like a three inch drop maybe i just can't tell til i get it mounted but holding it up next to the oem arm it only looks like a 2" drop. anyway is it vague steering, bump steer, or what did i waste money on this pitman arm?, i know not really cause i cant really afford the superrunner steering anyway.

The dropped pitman arm is actually a full size Bronco pitman arm. You also need it with the Super Runner steering. Another advantage of the Super Runner steering is that the pieces are much beefier than stock. If you cannot do it right away, you might want to consider it as a future mod. There is nothing saying that it has to be done at the same time as the lift.

When you do get the supperunner steering, before you start to install it, make sure you have all the correct castlenuts. When I recieved mine the inner tie rods and outer tie rods had different size bolts on the ends and I got too many nuts for the outer ends. Watch out and do a bolt check
