Trying to dynamat the rear hatch of my 2003 explorer. I cant find any little gromets or anything that i have to remove to get the rear plastic to come off. But it is also on there pretty tight. I dont wanna end up breaking the plastic and not being able to put it back on. Anyone got any tips or know how to remove that stupid thing?

Welcome to the site.
I think the latch is the only screw on the rear hatch. And then it's pulling the plastic pieces away from the metal, only fighting the plastic thingies.
You'll break some plastic thingies before you'll ever break your amr or a screw, so pull as hard as you can and the plastic trim will come off.
