While I am fixing my fuel lines, I noticed that the master cylinder is leaking at the rear. Might as well replace it while the truck is out of commission.

Is there a good replacement that could also be an upgrade? If I'm gonna spend the $$$ for OEM (because I have had bad luck with rebuilts), I want to get the best I can afford.

what do you mean its leaking from the rear? Down the brake booster?

Carquest carries good new master cylinders, not rebuilt.
No need for an upgrade, jsut replace witht he same unit.

Yep, leaking down the brake booster.

BTW - I found a mechanic that is making the fuel lines.....he is changing the fittings to universal ones, so I won't have this trouble again. It will cost me half than if I bought the OEM part.
