Slybarger 04-07-2005, 07:22 PM I think it may be more of an application problem, than a pigment problem. Just curious, is this on plastic, or metal parts? riverst 04-07-2005, 07:53 PM I would have to agree with Slybarger. Its all on how the car was prep and how the paint was applied. There a big difference between a 200 maaco special and a 1500 job. All paint will chip soon or later. If you have plastic pieces that are painted, I have seen that plastic pieces require alot of preperation for the paint to stick. If done incorrectly, it will chip. MONMIX 04-07-2005, 09:12 PM you will notice white more becuse of the contrasts. ( really I dont know but that sure sounded good ) Crispy Niggets 04-07-2005, 11:58 PM I would have to agree with Slybarger. Its all on how the car was prep and how the paint was applied. Well its factory paint; and the reason I ask this is because when I buy a new vehicle or have myn" painted I want to know whats the best Redrig 04-08-2005, 12:36 AM Ive had many vehicles and many different colors. My personel opinion is that white is the best. As far as chipping I agree with the others, I dont think its the color. As far as staying clean, A white car will stay clean longer. Waterspots and dust doesnt show up very quick. |
