Hello All,
I have and 01 Sport Trac with 32" BFG All Terrains and I've been noticing that they are wearing excessively on the insides of both the front tires. Is this normal because of the camber or is something wrong?
Thanks for the help.

You need an alignment. When you do the alignment, rotate your tires.

Took it in and they said the alignment was fine. Any other suggestions?

they are wrong, take it somehwere else, if both front tires are wearing on the inside then your front end is out of alinment.

i am with dman that shop is :smoke:
if the tires are worn on the inside edges only, then either the camber or toe adjustments is out of specification.....

Thanks Dman,
I will take it to a specialist. I appreciate your help. Just curious how much camber on the front is the Sport Trac supposed to have. It seems looking at it like is has a few degrees. I'll get on this right away.

not sure on the spec but if there is enough for you to see it, then it probably has too much....
have you done a torsion twist to your truck? normally the insides wear out when its lowered due to camber, but if you raised it and have toe out, then that can wear the insides as well

Haven't raised it or lowered it. I just put 15" wheels with 32x11.50 tires. I have an appt today to get a "real" alignment done.
