View Full Version : Do I have to replace all 4 tires? kentwb 04-13-2005, 10:01 PM I have two tires cupping slightly on my 98 Ford Explorer V8 AWD. All tires have 8/32 remaining and I was thinking about replacing just the two tires that are cupped to stop that bump, bump noise at slow speeds. I have heard that with AWD you have to replace all 4...is this true? Doug 04-13-2005, 10:10 PM Um, you mean 1/4".. If that's all thats left on the tires it's time for some new ones.
