I know Im going to get hammered for this this but i did search and figured out a 265/75/15 = 30.6" My question is, is a 31x10.5 actually 31" tall? Which tire is actually bigger?

Also which one of these would you prefer. Its for street driving mostly.

it really depends on what brand and what kind of tire.....sometimes a 31" MT can measure out to a 32.

oh i think the 31 is wider then the 265....the 31 is probably cheaper too because the 265/75R15 is kind of an oddball size.

Check the Tire Rack for some of the dimensions. They list most tires, and have spec dimensions for most of those. BTW, my 18's are 30.6" tall. Good luck,
