Anyone got any requests? I'm going to the yard probably either Wednesday or Thursday or maybe Friday. Was in the process of re-wiring the remote start and I broke the steering column cover mounting tabs.

FordTough 04-26-2005, 07:35 PM yeah do you think you can get me some EATC parts if you could email me at sschevelle70454@sbcglobal.net i can give you some more info... IZwack 04-26-2005, 07:53 PM hello fellow marylander, ive been looking for a 5r55e pan. i mean if u spot one thatd be great.. and if u dont have time or something, u can just tell me where u saw it cauz it does get rather involved and dirty removing the pan (assuming theres still oil in the tranmission.. and the driveshaft and exhaust).. r u going to Crazy Rays (the one in Balt) ? Blee1099 04-26-2005, 07:54 PM IZ.. going to the one in Laurel. The one in Laurel has a better selection of newer vehicles. IZwack 04-26-2005, 07:56 PM Oh wow wow! well last time i was there i didnt see any 2nd gens with a 5r55e.. but if u see one, that'd be great!!!!!!!! Blee1099 04-26-2005, 07:57 PM There should be some there.. Usually there are atleast 2-3 explorers there. IZwack 04-26-2005, 07:59 PM actually u know what, u may be right, i think that 5r55es use the same pan as the 4r and the A4. DCanales 04-26-2005, 08:12 PM will you pick up a 99-01 arm rest for me?? Mine broke when someone leaned on it. Grey color I prefer, but I can paint it . Let me know if you get one so I can send payment IZwack 04-26-2005, 08:18 PM Mine broke when someone leaned on it. AHAHA thats Ford alrdight ;) ahaha kidding! IAmTodd 04-26-2005, 08:26 PM I need the jack cover, in gray. Preferably the new style with the clips you turn instead of the ones your truck has :) Heath 04-26-2005, 08:36 PM I need a second gen armrest too... Mine is broken and barely holding together... Thanks... I don't really want to spend more than $30-35 shipped... Thanks... 98xlt2wd 04-26-2005, 09:16 PM If you happened to see a subwoofer cover for 98 4dr (the one in the cargo area where the factory sub is hidden) please grab one for me. I prefer tan color but if you only see grey thats fine, maybe I can paint it. I'm looking at $0-30 price range shipped :). Thanks. Kevin Kuiper 04-26-2005, 09:48 PM I am in need of the Cruise Control Switches for the 96 Explorer.. Also if U can find a Arm Rest in Gray, that would be Cool!!! Thanks!! Kevin Premier 04-26-2005, 09:55 PM BEN! I need a passenger door off of a 2nd gen sport :D PLEASE! IZwack 04-26-2005, 09:59 PM wow umm BLEE, uve got quite a lengthy list here.. AHAHHAHA!! jimcom 04-27-2005, 06:31 AM wow umm BLEE, uve got quite a lengthy list here.. AHAHHAHA!! LOL, yeah he does, he could open his own salvage/shipping business and make a mint on this board just selling parts. Ben, I was going to ask that if you happen to see an (2000 +or-) XLS, with the avalanche-esque gray body cladding (i.e. - tupperware fender flares), that I could use the passenger side rear wheel flares, the piece that goes over the door and the 2nd piece over the quarter panel. I've still never gotten them replaced after someone hit me the day I purchased the explorer, and thats been 2 years now, lol. Thats an extremely narrow scope, I know, and it seems like you already have your plate full with other requests, so it's no biggy, plus I doubt that the yard will even have one like mine, but it never hurts to ask I reckon! :D Hell, I didn't even know there was a junkyard in laurel, I need to get out more :p EDIT: It's the rear flare, it's a bad pic, but the best I scrounge up from work, hopefully you know what I'm talking about. Thanks. :D http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/728000-728999/728601_17_full.jpg dykzeulb 04-27-2005, 11:11 AM Transmission for my X? see thread above urz... Blee1099 04-27-2005, 12:10 PM This is gonna be postponed. Either I caught a flu/cold or something viral. IZwack 04-27-2005, 12:12 PM oh dang.. get well soon! spend some time outside today eh, last time i was out (about 20 mins ago), it looked most smashing! Blee1099 04-27-2005, 04:19 PM Well I went thru there to see what was in. Unfortunately nothing really got my interest. No Jack storage compartment doors, no center consoles, no arm rest, etc. What a waste of a $1 for the admittance fee. yet I did find my steering column cover. I'll probably go back & forth into there about once a week or so or maybe less. Blee1099 04-27-2005, 04:19 PM BEN! I need a passenger door off of a 2nd gen sport :D PLEASE! That be a little difficult to ship wouldn't you think? :D spindlecone 04-27-2005, 04:49 PM Should you run across an Ex with a EE, S.C, would you be so kind as to procure the entire S.C. pullys, belts and injectors, could go 400 bux and will pay for shipping. Many thx:) eckerta82 04-28-2005, 08:58 AM You guys should try Brandywine Auto Parts, their Bowie Truck parts yard. Thay have at LEAST 10 explorers in there at all times. I go there all the time. Check it out. Do a google search for it, online invetory (although manys times they have ALOT that isnt inventoried, and if you need a non inventoried part, its usually only 5 bucks Blee1099 04-28-2005, 09:57 AM Brandywine's prices are a bit more than what I'm willing to pay. I can get a tailight for $20 from Crazy Ray's. IZwack 04-28-2005, 05:54 PM yeah brandywin is a lot better (and more organized i think) but they are somewhat expensive.. but its still a great place tho  Blee1099 04-28-2005, 06:29 PM Yeah Brandywine is a nice place but you have to consider the cost. After I broke a taillight one day, I needed a replacement. I called Brandywine, they wanted $50, a few other yards wanted $40. I went over to Crazy Ray's and pulled one myself for $20 I believe. etc 04-28-2005, 07:00 PM Well if you go around once more, get me a driver side second gen power mirror. $35 + shipping, please. |
