I want to get new tires for my 96 Eddie Bauer Explorer. I've always had 15" wheels on my 4x4s and tires were reasonable. I've always ran BFG A/Ts, but thier price on 16" is a little high. Eventually I'll put a 4" suspension lift and run 15x8 wheels and 33s. I just want to put something on it a little bigger than stock that will do fairly well off road and good in the snow for now. Yokohama offers a 265/70 15, it's nicely priced and has a nice open tread pattern. Has anyone used this tire, opinions? Thanks.

I also came across the Pirelli Scorpion A/T. Has anyone used this tire? It comes in a 275/70/16 that I was thinking about trying out. Thanks for any input you may have.

I've heard the Yoks are noisy and wear fast.
