I will be doing the famous AAL/TT and shackles in the near future with some 31/10.5 BFG ATs and I was thinking about which wheels would look better on my Ex. (its a dark green, 4 door 95XLT). I am either going to get the black rockcrawler wheels, or just keep the stock teardrops. What are some opinions as to what would look better. I like the rugged look of the black wheels, but i also like the quality of the teardrops. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know there is a picture somewhere on here with a guy with a green explorer with black wheels/tires and it looked sweet. Real sweet. I'd go with the black wheels. Also, I think you'll be able to put a 31" spare under your truck, so get 5!

I think his name was green giant or something like that, it did look pretty good if we are talking about the same one.


Personally id keep the stockers.

Bmxking5 has black rock crawler's on a green truck. Looks good with the darker color. The steel rims will actually be better quality than the stockers. They're much more durable and tough, easier to clean, and less prone to chipping, rusting, etc.

thanks fellas, does anyone know of a 2nd gen ex (the green color) on the black wheels? preferably with the TT/AAL and 31s. And yes ive searched but on page 31 i gave up :rolleyes: thanks.
